Second question related to the shingles is: has anyone used the new GAF cement shingles that have replaced the outlawed asbestos ones? Comments?

Couple of years back I used some from Canada. Perfect match, same brittleness. Used a skill saw to trim as needed. Had to drill new holes, as the hole placement was wrong distance from top edge. Came in either straight or wavy bottom edge.

If it's got highway gearing and a gas engine, 5-6 would be my guess at 65MPH. If a diesel and highway gears, I'd go with Nate.

Judging from the intake and exhaust I'm guessing diesel.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure its diesel.. I think I'm gonna tell him that I don't want to do it.. I just got back from Miami.. I don't want to go back. I'll spend a couple days putting stuff on ebay, instead.. We listed a couple jackets and some motocross pants today, if anybody is interested.

A friend has a similar truck with a diesel. He gets 6 mph empty, full, or anything in between.
