2013 990 BAJA comparisons?
I'm seriously looking at getting a new 2013 Baja Adventurer. My awsome local dealer found one he can trade for and i'm wondering how i might like it since i wont be able to give it a test ride until he gets it for me? i would hate to have him go thru thr hassle and hate the bike. I currently ride a 250sxf for track riding and a 150 xc for woodds/single track and love both of them.... buts it's been several yrs since a road bike and it was a honda valkrie interstate (plush crusier with full faring and amenties) plus i had several cafe bikes and open crusires when i was younger. My wife and i plan to do some occasional 2 up riding but it will be mostly myself. just looking for opinons?? Similar to??? Thanks!!!!

Although pronounced Baha, I believe it's spelled Baja
It's an awesome bike, and depending on your height and competence, would be an excellent 2-up ride for you and your wife. For me, the only deal-breaker was not having ABS (but I won't get into that discussion). I will say though, if this is your first big bike in a while, it's size and weight may be a little intimidating at first. Is there no way you could maybe travel to a nearby dealer and take a test ride? |

Or at least test ride ANY 990 and see how it feels for you at the very least.
