I'll mount up some fresh death wings and join for one day.

Then I *may* ride sweep.

Dick is an Up State guy. If you hear banjo music, well.........................

From an RV Forum post about protection when boondocking:

On my first flying gig in the north country the old guy doing the "oreintation" seminar asked to see our survival gear, pointed to one of the young fellas bear spray and said "Do you know how to tell the difference between black bear scat and grizzly scat?" Young guy said no.

Old fella said "The grizzly scat smells like that stuff.".........

Sounds great. If I'm around, I'm in.

I've scouted out many the DS routes in Dutchess County - on the ridgeline between the intersection of NY, CT & up into MA - nice dirt up there - the kind you can fly on - with nobody to bother you. Let me know if you'd like to see my routes - have them saved via .gpx.

Not to hijack the thread, but a couple of years ago (2011) at Hancock, someone came by while we were sitting around the fire shooting the shit, with a pan full of the best damn ribs I've ever had. Was that you?

If so, I'm there.
