The Flying Squadron in WWI
The Flying Squadron was part of the American Red Cross in Great Britain during WWI. Made up of only a little over a dozen members, they covered the night shift for the Red Cross in London. Allowed to operate under their own authority, they must have been a wild bunch...

![]() I really dig stories from the pioneer days. Rough roads, hilariously low-powered bikes (by today standards), tough men! Mind you: less than a century ago! I like the closing lines of the story. Tickles the imagination: "Euh, where shall we put the siren?" "...No sweat, we'll choose the Harley"
