It's all part of the adventure. Take the said course and if things look a bit dodgy, we can work around it.
I'll check back here in the morning for any updates.

Scotty, are you on a Tenere or Super Tenere? Ockrocket will be on the KLE if he comes. Not the smallest of bikes. If you've got a Super Tenere ill take the 990 and we can wallow in the mud together.

Beelizzy and I have pretty much decided this;
If it bucketing down rain in the morning, we'll postpone until the weekend after next. If not we are going and we'll follow the planned route and wing it dependant on conditions.

I plan on being up at zig zag about 11.30. I'll be taking the DRZ with a swag to camp in one of the Hill End camp grounds. I've got a 17l tank so I've got plenty of fuel for detours. I hope.

I was in Orange when the storm came today and it was a ripper. 45mins later the sun was in full force and everything dry.

I'm still 2hrs and 9mins (google maps) from zig zag so an early morning forecast by me would be useless.

I'd say I'd be 1ish before we get to ZigZag. The rain has finally stopped where I am (7 Hills). Hopefully it stays that way. I don't actually own any sort of wet weather gear. Hence my dislike for rain.

I will be camping too. If its raining I'm thinking of the bush camp ground and setting up my tent inside a wooden hut kinda thing. But the camp ground near town is also a good idea due to the pub location ;)

My wet weather gear is pretty slack also. So I'm not keen on the rain Either and I was reminded on the way home. Haha

You'll be fine mate. I've got no idea! I've been riding road bikes for years so I'm still trying to find my dirt feet again.

The turon river as from lunchtime today is running 200mm higher than is was on Monday there has been 2 good storms today , clear creek at Peel has just rissan about 500mm at the moment and staying at this height , providing there is no more storms tomorrow you should be OK.

I think I'm out......

Rode home in the storm this afternoon and found my waterproof gear isn't anymore

50 mm of water in boots, wet shoulders, neck, back, legs, balls, knees, arms, hands- f**k it!

I'm thinking a trip to AdventureMoto for some Klim Traverse pants and jacket, along with a pair of Forma boots is in order.

If I'm not at Maccas in the morning go without me.
