I'm thinking a trip to AdventureMoto for some Klim Traverse pants and jacket, along with a pair of Forma boots is in order.

If I'm not at Maccas in the morning go without me.
Hey Ock, Check out the new Alpinestars Toucan Adventure boot. I was lusting after them today down at BikeBiz in Parramatta. Full Goretex and they seemed like a better quality than the Forma's.

I'd take the big one, comfort doing ordinary miles far outways the little bit of shitty stuff,

A typical mixed bag of bikes when we did that ride
Cheers

The 500 may be OK on the first day when there is quite a bit of dirt riding, but will be a PITA on day two slabbing it back from Bathurst.

I'd take the 990, as it's not a tough ride.

River height at the moment is Ok and with another 100mm still OK after this it gets a bit fast flowing, anything on the graph over 2.1m is tricky.

2.1 means on some causway,s about 450 to 500mm deep, remember some causway,s flow faster than others keep on the upstream side in case you do have trouble with the moss in faster flows.
here is the link,

There has been 3 heavy storms since 4pm today so check tomorrow morning .

I just checked the current rain radar, widespread rain at the moment so I'm definitely out.

I will go look for new waterproof riding gear today and maybe do a ride this afternoon or tomorrow now.

If this ride comes up again I'd look at getting in on it.

Have a great weekend guys, and above all, stay safe.
