Quite heavy rain here in Seven Hills. It's not looking good. I'm going cross my fingers until 10. If it hasn't lifted we are out. Ill check the river levels, and call the general store at Hill End and get a weather report from them.

Contingency plan: just throwing it out there. Tomorrow according to the forecast is supposed to be a terrific day. If today doesn't go ahead for some of us less aquatic folk, how about a ride up to Blackfellows via mount Irvine and any other route that takes our fancy. It'll still be boggy but no real river crossings.

I hate the 990 in mud!

Been raining all night here at Richmond. The ride up is going to be very sloppy I'd say. Water crossings are going to be interesting to say the least. If the ride gets moved two weeks down the track, it's fine by me.

Looking at the radar and the wether reports. The weather reports are saying clearing showers for lithgow and hill end. And look at the radar show the band of rain seems to stop around Richmond area and slowly moving up north.

But I'm no weather guru.

My forecast is for showers clearing in the late afternoon rather than this morning.
As of 7:15am river levels were steady.

Actually I'm out for this one, sorry.
I don't want to risk a fall as I've got track days at Phillip Is on the 11th & 12th.
I'll go for an easy ride tomorrow, Ockrocket let me know if your going out please.

I just rang The Ranch to cancel my room and Kerri said it's still raining at Hill End now.

Hi all, I'm afraid beelizzy and I are out as well.
I'm proposing rescheduling for two weeks time 16th/17th.
As stated in my previous post, with the weather looking better tomorrow, beelizzy and i are going to do a lesser fang up to Blackfellows Hands. It'll be muddy, but at least we won't be packed up for an over night jaunt.
Richmond Macca's @ 9:30 am and head up to Bilpin via ??? (Can't remember names, PETERGSA help). On to Clarence via Mt Irvine. Down to Wolgan road Lidsdale.
After that head home via somewhere pleasant for lunch.

Fair call. Even when it does stop raining it's going to take a long while to dry out at these temps.

Hope too see you all next time.

Bicentennial Rd, Wheelbarrow Ridge track, Mountain Lagoon Rd. Ock knows these roads MUCH better than I do.
Ock, didn't you do a ride up there a few weeks back as a noobie run?

Well the rain has eased abit here. At this point I'm still going, I will decided properly at 10:00 the weather is moving up north slowly according to the radar. Mud doesn't worry me much, just have to decide other route options incase the mud is bad.

Is everyone one else out for good?

Careful of those river crossings mate. They were my main concern.
