Running behind in getting my gear sorted, trying to find some dry stuff to wear after Friday's rain.

Can't spare the full day for a ride though.

Thank you all for making my first ride back into dirt riding so enjoyable. I had a great day out.

Thanks to PeterGSA, Ockrocket, scotty4x4, kickatinalong and of cause the very sexy beelizzy for coming out riding. We didn't make Hill End this weekend but we all had a great ride today.
Thanks Ockrocket for leading us around. Well leading all but the ratbag bunch of peterGSA and kickatinalong followed closely by scotty4x4, who where the missiles of the day. No crashes which is always a bonus, although beelizzy gave it a shot by over cooking a corner. I managed to put on 5kg via the consumption of one giant sausage roll and 4.75kg of dust.

Cheers again guys for coming along and hope you all can make it to Hill End in two weeks.

It was a great ride, thanks PV.

Nice to meet new faces and catch up with an old [young] one again.

A nice mix of bikes again, that little 230L does really well and had no problems mixing it with a group of bikes ranging from 990 and down.



The group stopped at Wheeny Creek after crossing the causeway.

Even though it didn't rain I still got wet......

I knew it was going to happen but wanted to try and get as much "wave" in the pic as possible, besides, it gave Pete a chance of some fun trying to drown me.

It was a great day out [even though I really shouldn't have gone as I'd arranged to do other things after pulling out of the original Hill End ride].
