Triumph Trophy- Tour de France 2013

Was just watching the 100th edition of Tour de France cycle race and the new Triumph Trophy has made an entry into the organizers entourage together with the scores of BMWs, Kawasakis, Suzukis, Yamahas (cops).
A nice testing ground I guess...

It's an odd situation regarding pricing. You guy's in Aus seem to get creamed regarding the euro brands. Over here, it's the Japanese marques who charge more than their euro counterparts. Which probably explains why their sales have suffered for the halo bikes.

Right, moving along....

I installed a set of Motolights on my Trophy this past weekend. I also put a set of Hyperlites on the back end. More visibility is a good thing.

Oh, and my Trophy was half naked outdoors

I'd be interested in seeing where/how you mounted the switch...

For the present, I mounted it on the left side, next to the locking compartment. If I need to remove the fairing again (I'm sure I will), I'll just have to re-attach it with the two sided tape. It's held up well enough through three heavy thunderstorms.

Day 1 of riding sees me well impressed. Only a short stint - but it does the biz very well. Handling is impressive, as are ergos, gearshift and tranny.
Never thought id ride a bike with an audio rig - but it's good fun to play with.

The Multi is a cracking bike. Can't really say anything against it.

3rd day on the Trophy and it and i are starting to bond. Can't wait for the weather to turn crap...

Good to hear you are bonding well with your Trophy.

As for crap weather, I've ridden my Trophy in several torrential thunderstorms in the last few weeks. This bike handles very heavy rain just fine.
