I've owned four Buells. I hope they continue to be manufactured in America but this does not bode well.

Unless said by Erik himself, don't believe the hype. EBR provides engineering help (I forget the big name for that, I am a stupid person after all) to Hero future products, and Hero provides funding for the race team; that's it. I believe, and I could be wrong, that Erik has said that these three models will be American built. Anything said otherwise is just hearsay.

That article is just speculating.

Erik has been working with Hero as an engineering contractor/consultant on some of their own projects....namely Hero's Leap Scooter (the one that gets 200+mpg). If he ever does manufacture with them, it will probably be products for the Hindi market.
