Im jazzed! Im camping at Rio Nido fri/sat night, then heading to the Mile in Santa Rosa 20 minutes away! Rio Nido is the funnest ADV campout of the year, camping next to the pool, behind the restaraunt/bar,with some of the tightest best roads through the redwoods nearby!

Good for Miriam for stepping up. If it wasn't 3000 miles away I'd be there for sure!

I'm getting more and more angry over this. NOT COOL AMA, not cool at all. your fucking the foundation of the sport. no funds?????? Might be time for an independent audit, something just sounds wrong here. Time to stop this shit. I'm not aiming this at the announcers, you guys do a great job. but your company sucks and needs to go. The teams and racers deserve much better. The AMA should be embarrassed as hell that a facebook page has stepped up to do the banquet.
I guess if it's not motocross or supercross, it just doesn't matter anymore.

The EX650s don't get particularly good starts on the expert side either. The HDs are the ones that really take off great and then run out of RPMs by mid-straight on the mile. That last race at Pomona will be a duzey. On the 1/2 mile the HDs are still very capable of winning .

Don't forget the short track races at Chris Beck Arena (on the other side of the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds from the Mile Track) on both Friday, and Saturday nights.
Friday is the "amateur" program" and Saturday night is the "Pro" program.

Lots of great racing!!!

That gas station behind Nixon is still there, turn 2, now a Std. Station. Was there to watch 68, 69, and 70 races. Glad they're back, thanks to Bellino. Saw 'em workin' the track today. Can't wait.

This is going to be one good show at Santa Rosa. Sam Halbert is back, Brad baker is on fire , Brian Smith is trying to win a championship as well as TJ Burnett's Brandon Robinson both on Kawasaki's .
I know that saturday night is going to be action packed in the Pro class with some heavy hitters looking for some spending money during this three week swing out west as well as the local west coast boys trying to keep the money from going east.

Don't forget to thank Miriam and Gina for doing a great job putting on a thank you to the riders get together after Pomona.
I can tell you that the food is going to be great as well as the entertainment and some special awards to riders , crew members and sponsors.

yup, see all the action from the comfort of your desk...... at least the beer is cheaper ...

from the ama website...

"In addition to the live streaming cameras that have been offered at each round of the 2013 AMA Pro Flat Track presented by J&P Cycles season, Circle Bell Motorsports recently announced that this year's Santa Rosa Mile will also feature full-production live streaming in a Premium Access Pay-Per-View (PPV) format. Just as they did at this year's thrilling Sacramento Mile, Circle Bell Motorsports will have a full broadcast production crew on hand at the Santa Rosa Mile to provide AMA Pro Flat Track fans around the world with all the live racing action.

Beginning at 10:15 a.m. PT (1:15 p.m. ET), fans will be able to tune in and watch free live streaming of timed practice and opening ceremonies. At the end of Opening Ceremonies, at approximately 1:00 p.m. PT (4:00 p.m. ET), Premium Access PPV live streaming will be made available for $4.99. Fans can stream the Premium Access PPV broadcast for $4.99 by purchasing a ticket on race day at http://www.amaprolive.com/ft/ or in advance at http://ustre.am/12oOf."

I am heading out to Santa Rosa at about 3am . Got to be at the track to deliver tires first thing.
I am sure I will run into dennis tomorrow.
Come over and say hello at Pomona. I am sure Dennis will have tickets to the after party .

Santa Rosa called! Halbert 7 crashed on lap 1. Riders said track muddy, unsafe. Very poor visibility. Weather has been a bitch this year! :(

did anybody else see the move baker pulled on the first turn
of his heat race. the one he walked away with. before he smoked
the field by 8 seconds.. he got a bad start. went high into the turn.
cut down across the track in front of three riders and took the lead.
