I just did a recap with the resort tonight and right on schedule were down the last few cottages... All camping has been fully booked for a while now... If you're sitting on the fence you know the deal ....time to shake it!

Cheers!

Yeah looked into the camping awhile ago and was told they were full so the event is a no go for me as I gather you have to stay on sight to participate. Another year I guess.

Hope everyone has a good go!

This will be my first time to partake in this auspicious annual event.

I understand that in past years there have been routes with different focusses. Some like the mud, and ride bikes set up for that. Others prefer the asphalt only routes because they ride on street only tires. Personally, I like something in-between; some fast twisty asphalt, and some gravel or fire routes, (just NO MUD!)

Is someone planning such a route? If not, could someone send me tracks for such a route from previous years? I would be pleased to load that track, maybe manipulate it a little with the Backroads mapset, and then make it available to anyone with similar interests. I will even offer to lead such a ride if there is interest.

So.....if you have tracks in the area for a fun route that is doable on larger bikes, please send them to me.

Cheers!!

See you FF's up there!!!!!!!

The pre-riding was fuckin' amazing!! We did a very aggressive off-road route with Kevin from Rallyconnex... About a third of the time we were beyond axle deep in water and that's not an exaggeration on the quantity or the water level..
Routes will be available at the rally to load on your GPS is and there are plenty of others beyond the aggressive one we did..
If the weather holds to what it's forecasted for now it's promising to be another stellar weekend for weather!!!

Hey,

Any Ottawa riders headed to this thing?

I'll be leaving 1570 Laperierre Ave at about 1:00 pm to head West. Lemme know if you want to meet up.

Oh, the irony of having to ride 2 & a half hours west to go to an Eastern Ontario rally.
Still looking forward to it though.
