need help deep in mexico

My wife and I are traveling on two bikes in Mexico returning from Guatemala and Belize. We are currently in the city of Campeche, Campeche. I got rear-ended by a car last week, and had to have surgery to put a couple of screws in my ankle. I am looking for anyone who can help, or direct me to help to get my bikes back to the Arizona border. Needless to say, the ideal situation would be someone with a vehicle with a trailer so that we could ride along. If they could take both us and the bikes we could pay more than if it is just the bikes. Anyone with real help can contact me at
mike@sapoyrana.net
Thanks in advance

Just a suggestion; consider hiring a local Mexican to haul you and your bikes to la frontera; might be more economical and convenient than "gyroscoping" an American ADV inmate for the task.

It would probably be cheaper to have the bikes shipped home and fly home .Or have a mexican freight company at least truck them to a border town so they can be picked up from a freight dock.My van costs about 25 cents a mile just for fuel.

You need to ask in the Latin American section of this forum.
Your more likely to find someone closer to you for help.

What bikes are you riding.
I'd have them crated and shipped to the U.S. border.
Or shipped to an easy access point like Chihuahua, which
is on the auto pista and will have major Mexican shipping companies
with terminals there.

I'm just hanging in Tucson for the next few months and have a lot
of travailing in Mexico experience and a moto trailer,
so email me through advrider if I can help.

You could ask at the Police Station or find out which Motel the bus stops at. Usually a motel is a bus stop. The motel owner will know lots of truck drivers, so will the cops. I had three offers through the motel and cop when I biffed in Baja last year.

Sorry to hear about this. I KNOW how it is
