Hit a cow in Baja - Page 2

I'm from the UK. Cows and cow shit on all the back roads I used to ride on. I should know better. I beleive I was distracted by gas light/Pemex sign/204 miles/apathy/day dreaming/watching Colleen in my mirror.....whatever......COW BAM... that's all she wrote......it was probably 100 feet in front of me when I saw it and I was doing 66mph when I hit it (GPS verified).

Well. You gotta better story. I hit a 30 pound fawn and dang near killed myself. Cow sounds much more manly.

The folks up this way that I know who have hit cows looked (and smelled) much worse than your pics....those ruminants exploded all over them............Holy Shitsky Batman........

Cow took about four steps I guess, because it was dead in the ditch on the other side.

ATGATT except the old Joe Rocket Jacket let me down on one elbow, pad must have slipped.

AGV leather pants were great. I had them fixed this week, just a couple of busted seams.

I had leather gloves with carbon fibre knuckles, don't know the make. They worked well. They are in pieces at the side of the road. GET GOOD GLOVES.

Sidi Sport rain boots. Brand new. Barely scuffed but I forgot to mention my right little toe was broken.

Flip helmet by ZOX. Flip didn't open so that was groovy. Barely felt a thing on my head. Screen smashed to pieces.

Valentine One Radar survived. Garmin Nuvi GPS survived. Bike to bike radio gave up.

Broke every finger on my left hand and my left wrist.

Broke 2 fingers on my right hand and right wrist. Broke my right little toe awwwwww.

pics added that finally work. took me two years to get back to normal and it still depends on how i sleep if i can feel my fingers or hand in the morning years later. its just something im getting use to now and accepting.
