Next Shipment

When would an order need to be placed to make the next shipment, and when is that shipment expected?

We're looking at 6 to 8 weeks out for the next shipment. GlobeScout has a yearly holiday in August, and our order is larger than the past two -- both items make this window a bit larger than normal.

I'll see. That would be nice. I'm up to $10,000 in damage to bike according to the dealer and that's not even including repair of the brakes. They opened up a claim with BMW Motorrad for that. Rear subframe is bent so I wonder if the bike will be "totaled" because of that.

It's dead, Jim.

I worked at a BMW Motorrad dealer for the better part of a decade and I can't recall a single bike that came in with any frame damage that insurance companies didn't total. That was one, specifically, with a *scratched* frame that an insurance company wrote off. One of the mechanics ended up purchasing it and still rides it to this day.

Well strangely enough, they didn't total the bike. Rob, are the 1200GSA specific panniers expected on the next shipment?

Finally!
Hi Rob --

Any updates since last week? Do you have an idea of how long it will take you to process through everything and get them shipped?

Thanks,
Kevin

Any chance of getting some good photos of the cutout pannier set on the GSW (especially the 35l black ones)?

There are more that are in this shipment, but I believe we're sold through. I'll verify in the next day or so and advise. I'm almost 100% certain though. :(

I do have an update - they are scheduled to arrive at our warehouse TODAY! (very, very late today) and we'll start shipping tomorrow!

Everything that we have so far is supplied by GlobeScout direct. The following photo is about as good-as-it-gets for the time being when it comes to demonstrating the notch. Is there something specific that you would like to see?

Rob that cutout photo you posted is great. I hadn't seen it before.

My goal is to get the 35l in black for my GSW and then hopefully be able move the rack and the boxes to the adventure model in two or three years.

I'll probably be calling to place my order this week. Thanks.

Bags for This Weekend?

Hey Rob - Any chance I could get these for the weekend? Looking to take a multi-day ride on Saturday. I'm in NH and I purchased the pre-drilled cases.

Thanks in advance!!!

Well, false alarm - it's about 6:00 PM and they haven't been delivered. Back to the phone tomorrow to see what's what. :(
