Thank you,
Thank you!

I see that the mount racks that come with the kit is quickly removable, which is what I am looking for.

Decisions, decisions.............

Do the special fit kits for the R1200GS water cooled come in a quick detach configuration?

Nope, only the standard kits are quick detach.

When is the cut-off date for the next order?
When is the expected arrival date?
Is an inner bag for the 28L bag available yet?

Expected arrival date is end of January. Once everything is out of production and ready to be shipped, I will have a more accurate ETA regarding our delivery date.

We do not yet have a specific inner bag for the 28L pannier. We have been using the 35L inner bag, however all of the textiles are being produced by a new vendor for Globescout, and may have a few updates (including Lid Nets). I will post back with details.

Very nice! The 28l & 35l looks good, can you tell me what the over all width is?

Paul -

Is it possible to order the "special" cliff-cut panniers without purchasing the entire system (rack) for the 2013+ 1200gs?

cheers!

Thanks, Rharrod. Keep in mind the edge to edge measurement of the racks have as much to do with width as the panniers themselves. Which is my only complaint with the Tiger, being the lack of after market support for narrow fitting racks...unless you find the Jesse's appealing.

I love these panniers but ended up going with the touratech racks because they were narrower than most others offered. So, to the point.

Pannier edge to edge is 37"
for reference my:
mirrors edge to edge are 38"
Handgaurds edge to edge are 36"

Can't go wrong with Globescouts. Cheers.

If you're handy with a welder the left side could easily be moved inward 3 inches sans the grab handle.

Thought about it but then I would be powder coating the rack again. As it stands right now the racks are nearly symmetrical from the centerline of the bike....sans .15" but who's counting.

Yup, it wouldn't look symmetrical anymore but at least where I live the ability to lane-split trumps aesthetic concerns.

Yes, we are actually invoiced separately for the racks and the special panniers, however we just offer them as a complete kit on our website. PM me or feel free to give me a call on Monday, and I will price out the panniers separate from the racks for you.

The special sets are made specifically for the globescout pannier racks however...are you planning on fabricating your own racks? Just curious how you will be using them.

For the 2013+ GS-W's, once the Adventure model is released, we will be working on a redesign of the rear half of the special panniers to be able to fit the OEM pannier frame that will come standard on the Adventure. We will then have two options for the GS-W; Special set for Globescout pannier frames and Special set for OEM Pannier frames (OEM Pannier frames are expected to retrofit to standard model as they did on previous generation R1200GS).

Thank you,

Do you know when you might be getting some of the Special R1200GSA panniers in anodized black back in stock. I am looking at picking up a new 2013 GSA and would love to have a set on that bike.

PM sent, thank you.

BTW, there are a few GS-A special sets on order. If anyone with an "Old" R12GS that is looking to fit our panniers, we offer the OEM pannier frames here: http://advdepot.com/bmw-oem-adventur...0gs-08-12.html

We are currently offering them for $579.99, which is an incredible price for a set of OEM Adventure Pannier Frames! We package them as a "kit", which is everything you need for the retrofit (L&R frames, crossbar, and hardware kit)
