I've got a 30 or so cup coffee pot that I can bring if'n it'll help.

We'll put it to use! I really don't know what to expect, haven't ever done anything for a crowd! I'm hoping to provide an area where coffee can be set up for anyone who wants it. Ya Know?!

So is there any kind of game plan for the rides yet? Are people going to turkey bay?? I'm trying to decide if I just want to ride the 650 up and stay out of turkey bay, or if I want to load both bikes in the truck and take my 250 over to turkey bay to play. I know my 650 could do it, but its not nearly as much fun, so if I'm going to turkey bay I'd rather just bring both bikes. I'm in one way or another for friday and saturday though. What time are you friday guys getting there? So many questions I know

Oh and I will be camping, is it still cool to just show up and find a spot when I get there??

"Just show up" is a great plan, plenty of room.

I would guess the Turkey Bay riders are on their own, I have not talked with the Forest Service guys about a discount. I know I won't be going on the V-Strom.

I expect by Friday PM we will have a good feel for the type of rides everyone will be looking for and make the appropriate adjustments. Threadkiller is an awesome pack leader. And TN Steve is a late entry on a DRZ, so he might let some folks chase him around.

I really believe it would be very easy to overthink this. I'm confident if you show up, you're gonna have fun!

Scavenger Hunt - How many are planning to participate? It may evolve a little, depending on how many want to play.

Sounds good to me. I guess I will just load my junk on the 650 and head up there late friday morning or early afternoon then. Be prepared to take pictures when I arrive though because this will be my first motorcycle camping trip so I'm probably going to arrive under a bundle of bungee straps and duct tape and dragging half my crap behind me. lol

Im in for a scavenger hunt or anything else anyone comes up with.

Just make sure nothing can get caught up in the chain or rear wheel and let everything else flap in the breeze.

Sounds like you got it! There hasn't been many people that seem set on going to Turkey Bay thus far.

Hell yeah! I haven't seen him around here, I was hoping he'd line something up before the ride! He on your DRZ?

I'll go but only if someone holds my hand and wipes my tears. Those fist-sized rocks are mean to me. ........>

The scavenger hunt might involve finding the items that fall of off KJDs 650.

This is my first bike camping trip so I will have lots-o-crap too.

Maybe we could have a contest for the worst packed bike?
