I moved away from the area 10 yrs ago and get back once every year or two. As mentioned if your a beginner or even a novice on a "big bike" will have trouble just making the boundary loop. It's a gret loop and I would love to blast up to the old silo on my VStrom running a set of TKC's

Turkey Bay kicks my ass!

Oh and by the way, count me in! Not sure if I'll tent camp or not, we usually have our camper at Hillmans Ferry in north LBL so I may just commute from there. Depends on how much jackassery I get into!

No problem, 2fast4u enjoys doubling drunks back home on the Ninja. .......and you'll get a good view of the front wheel for most of the trip.

Is the weather going to break? I'm ready to do some scouting on LBL and maybe get someone to show me how to work this new gps.

Supposed to be nice this weekend, but I don't know if I'll get out. Having some carb issues still (might have them sorted finally, haven't had a chance to test it yet), and I have to paint a big room this weekend too.

No, they were too big or too small. I went back to the stock size jets, and it was acting weird (seemed lean, but also having weird idle issues where it kept revving up while sitting still, stuff like that). Long story short, I was sweeping the garage, and kicked up the plastic barrel that sits in between the top of the needle and the diaphragm spring.... yep, completely missed a part, I think that the needle was floating upward on it's own.

It's back together, hope to test it soon. Might have to bump up to the next bigger needle, got it sitting on the counter ready to go in.

What GPS did you get? I'm working on an overlay of the LBL map. Depending on your model, the GPS will show you on the actual LBL map which has all the roads. I have it on www.dualsportmaps.com now. You should be able to check it out if you zoom in to LBL.

I havent tried the app yet. Remind me at the ride to take a look at it. Id be interested in getting it, but dont wanna drop $20 without a little test run. If you have time, goto http://dualsportmaps.com/ zoom in on North LBL and see if my map overlay is an option. Should be on the right side in a pull down that says "map over lay available". Its called LBL North, I made it public. See what you think. I am going to do the south also.
