My gramps old S&W .38, he bought it new in the 30's and we both used it as a duty weapon at one time.

Hell, if we are talking that age I still use the HP41CX that I bought in college every day. That thing just turned 30 years old this year. And it just received its millionth "WTF is that" from a young engineer yesterday.

These uppers on these are also 30 years old and still in use:

And the top one is nearly 35 years old and still in use:

Your dad gave you a house? Man, apparently I didn't do a very good job picking my parents.

I have a 25 year old Eddie Bauer down filled expedition parka that I still wear if I'm going to be outside (and not overly active) for any length of time. The zipper pull just came off but I think I can fix that myself.

You should consider to sell it on Ebay!

I have a "Jeepers Creeper" creeper that my dad bought sometime in the 60's that I still use. In fact, I used it yesterday. It needs new casters. I also have a Colt Single Action Army in .357 with a 6" barrell that he purchased new in 1968 for $68 plus tax. Got the handwritten receipt for it too.

I have the passport too but I haven't ridden it in 2 years I think I will clean the points and take it out. I have a Canon 7 that I haven't taken a picture with in about 4 years; does anyone still develop film??

I've posted this pic before in the 'Mog thread but it applies here too. 45 years old and I used it to plow today. The previous owner did a frame off restoration about 10 years ago and then it sat in his shop. When I went to look at it about 5 years ago it was covered in dust. I liked it and asked to go for a test ride. He didn't want to take it out in the light rain unless I was very serious about buying it. I said if it goes through the gears you have a deal and he then reluctantly took me for a drive around the parking lot. The poor thing needed to be used and it's never given me a single problem since the day I took it home. I did plate it the first summer I owned it. It was fun in a Ural kind of way.

Pretty much everything I own and use is old, I'm a firm believer in use things to the point where they are no longer functional and possibly a bit past. I mean they just don't make things to last my belt broke the other day I've only had it since I was 18 and worn it almost every day, just shoddy worksmanship in a $30 belt. (I'm 38 )

I have an old 30-gallon shop compressor from 1960 that still works well. It was made by the company that is now Johnson Controls.

It looks a lot like this, except lighter and it has only 1 cylinder.
