Schuberth S2 with SRC system
I decided to test run my new Christmas present to myself, see title. The SRC system has Bluetooth and a built in radio. My ride is a BMW GSA with full windshield I paired my I-phone to the helmet and took off on a test run. First the helmet is very light and quiet; my previous helmet is a Shoei Hornet so this is what I am comparing it to. They fit about the same this one is a little tighter but I’m thinking since it’s new it will be a little snug until it packs out a bit. Testing the phone for clarity I found out I needed to pull a glove off to use my finger on the touchpad (I’ll probably cut one of the fingers off the glove for this purpose next time) any way clarity was super and the person I was talking to said they heard almost 0 background noise, I was running 70 MPH down the turnpike at the time. Next the Radio test, it takes a bit to get use to the controls but it works well and again clarity is very good. I was riding alone which means no test for bike to bike or passenger to passenger. This was just a first run of about an hour or so and it works well. Is it worth $1000,00 +tax probably not, but if you want all these features in a helmet this baby is for you.

Don't cut your gloves!
You have 2 options. There are little finger tip things you can buy that go over your gloves or, you can buy cheap metallic thread and stitch a pad on your fingertips that will work with your phone. No glove hacking required. You can google for both.
