ORV tags

Where are you suppose to mount orv tags in Washington State? First real dirt bike in a while. All the others had plates.

I don't think there is a standardized place as long as it can be read by a LEO. Personally I placed mine up higher on the front fork tube (USD forks). Some guys like to to put them on the side of the swing arm, others on the side panels or rear fender. I like them on the forks because it seemed less prone to scraping off or less chance of a broken side panel that needs replaced and thus the sticker goes with it. However in reality it is probably rare that stickers get scrapped off or plastics get replaced. Sooo put it where you like best!

The RCW doesn't give much guidance.
DoL policy instructions are visible, either front and back or both sides.

There are a number of ways to get there, but one works for me.

Mike,

Try the fork tubes between the triple clamps. Problem with putting on anything plastic - fenders, number plates etc is that eventually you will end up replacing the plastic and then have to get new stickers.
