Rode the Multi at the track. It's a bit heavy, but it went well. Rode around a few sports bikes on slicks even tho I looked like a fat postie delivering the mail. The track is fantastic, my first time on it but everyone who'd been there before said the resurfacing improved it alot. Smooth and fast, no pucker moments thank f#@!.
Looking foward to getting back to the dirt though. This'll be a great weekend.

There are to good campsites provided by national parks. One just of the edge of town and the other about 1km in the bush.

The one in the bush is good for firewood.
The one on town is closer for walking to the pub.

Then bring your 640 Adventure Warto! (Assuming you haven't sold it yet).

PVMoto expressed an interest in an earlier post to see one on the ride.

I was going bush walking in the Ben Bullen SF, but the walk is oversubscribed, so this is "plan B" if I can stay awake in between night shifts. I'll be WeeStroming it on tourances, hope it's not wet clay!

Would like to meet at zig zag 0900, but what time would the team be passing through Lidsdale (after BFH trail) for a possible meet at the servo on Castlereagh hwy? This would allow for a power nap (finish work @ 0630) before ride.
Would continue on to Hill End pub for a couple of coldies, then Bridle Tk back to Bathurst for another night shift.

I'm thinking, allow an hour to get down BFH. So at the servo near the power station around 10:30. I was thinking of stopping for a few happy snaps and a rest at the Wolgan rd end of BFH where the hand paintings are. We could even meet there if you know the place.

Hi Benny, The 640's gone but not forgotten. She went to another inmate so will at least get used

Might try for the servo at 10.30am. Any idea what time you would have to be at Zig Zag? Need to know incase I get excited and can't sleep

Not sure but a 3/4 warn Dunlop 908 Rally Raid might be worse than a good tourance. Bloody things are so expensive you have to ride them down to the canvas. Just sayin

Pvmoto said 0900 meet for 0930 departure from Zig Zag. I'll be at the servo near power station @ 1030, 'cause if I don't catch some zeds, the Strom tends to compensate by having a "lie down" for me.

I'll knock on your door @ 0930 Glenn, if you don't answer, then I know sleep eluded you and you're sliding down BFH trail.

I didn't think orange pumpkin riders gave a rodent's rectum about expense, it's Wee Strom riders (they call us the new generation of KLR riders ) that are "cautious" with the funds. I can't bring myself to purchase TKC's and replace them at trail bike distance intervals. I have fun on both dirt and tar with tourances, they are reasonably priced and long lasting!

Many thanks to the original poster for putting up the idea of the ride , which they may undertake and by sheer coincidence, other like minded souls may also undertake at the same time.

Well the weather forecast for Sydney is looking a bit shady. The forecast for the districts past Lithgow are looking great.
