guess I'm confused. instead of going on tarmac back to forestville why not just stay on the dirt to Auberge31 (second gas on the grey line) and spend the night there then continue on?
also, I calculate Warren to Baie Comeau via Mt Washington as 573 miles.

love the rte planning

Some might contend that I over commit on day mileage.

I don't know why they were so grumpy, after we finished up my "planned" first day leg on the last trip. I think that was after lunch on day 4. Slow pokes.

So, trying to under commit this time:)

Just a suggestion... since most of your trip is in Canada, you should adjust the average gas price to be more like $5 per gallon. Or even $5.50, since you'll be getting gas in a lot of more remote, and therefore expensive, spots. So your 50mpg gas cost goes up to more like $400-$440, not $280.

So, IF I were to consider doing this ride, should I schedule for "48" days?

So what are the factors that would sway you one way or the other?

I think we should let our newest belle of ball chose the date/time. What say you J4S, how about your greasy spoon place down by Solomon's Island?

I have NOT committed yet, but I'll check with Mrs. J4S when she gets off work as to Saturday or Sunday.

Parla Voux Anglish?

Nope! ... but we have elected to bone up on our charades skills...:

Also, the Garmin 660/665 have a text-to-speech translate function (you type, it speaks). Doesn't your fancy smancy phone have an app for that?
