GS Dakar stanchions on Twin ?

Hello!!!

Anyone knows if GS Dakar stanchions are compatible with Twin stanchions?

I found that Twin has 703mm and Dakar 720mm So, if compatible, I would be able to gain 17mm of ground cleareance

Do you think is possible? :)

The dakar forks are a different manufacturer so the stancion swap is a no go. I tried to do the same thing.

I have a set of lengthened forks with racetech gold valves and hyperpro springs if you are interested. I ended up doing a complete fork swap.

Could you elaborate please? What bike do they fit? Just curious but have an application in mind.
