Left indicator light flashing irregularly

I recently noticed that my left turn signal indicator light in the dash will flash once normally, then twice very quickly, and then once normal again. At first I thought that one of the lights were out but checked both and they are OK. The only other thing I've done recently if purchased a new Powerlet heated vest and glove inserts. It seems to do this when I have the vest powered up. I don't run the vest and gloves at full power, maybe half to a quarter, so I don't know if the indicator light is a code for too much power being used. Anyone have any knowledge to what this might be?
