Changing up between 4,000 and 6,000 (occasionally a bit higher). Figures are from the on board computed but (for the first tank full at least) it seems pretty accurate based on the amount of fuel it took to refill.

Thanks - photos will follow .........

just as a comparison - riding my old (2008) 990 Adventure in much the same style would see 120 miles to about 17 litres of fuel, the 1190 did about 160 miles to 16 litres ................

the values are based on the on board computer. it is accurate, I checked it at the begining, since it's so easy to check the accurancy the data is correct.

to get 17,5/18 km x lt I shift at about 6000 rev, but this would be fast driving anyway.... much above legal speed, 150 km/h on a highway.

if you go higher then 6000 rev or/and there's traffic the consuption goes up high
(it's a superbike motor...) the worst figures I sow where 13 km x lt

Looks like it is really a big improvement over the 990. Thank you and have a good time with your wonderful bike, too.

Don't forget it's not just better fuel consumption than the 990, service costs will be way lower as well...............

It will mean a lot to you. less time in the garage with tools in your hand = more time to ride
