That's a sweet bike.

I can see owning one if the wife never wanted to ride with me but, because of the height, 2-up would be more of a chore than I care to take on.

I especially liked how easy the front end lifted which IMO is absolutely necessary if you're going off road.

I would have liked to do more than the ~20 minute loop but it was what it was.
What changed compared to the 2013, apart from the new ABS?

The power parts heated seat a low and high position but don't exactly how much

I'm not sure.

The only reason that I even rode the 1190R is because one of the sales guys at the shop knows that I enjoy my dirt.
And I just happened to stop by to drop off the key from the loner bike that I put in my pocket* before picking up the GS that had some warranty work done.

It was kinda interesting to ride the Triumph Explorer (loner), the 1190R and the GSW (Mine) back to back to back. I still like the GS best but then I didn't really get to wring out the 1190 like I would if I was on a REAL test ride.

* I've never considered that a bad habit until then.

Nice. What are they? Tubeless? Almost look like one of those sand scoopers :)
Are they any good?
