On these bikes, that are so heavy, and have so much power, i think all the dirt tires cant last over 5000 km, depending on the driving style.

Ive never had a tire last more than 5000km, dirt or road tires, large or small bike. If they do, theyre dangerously hard compound.

Anakee 2s lasted me 10k kms on the Tiger 800. Great tires but sadly not produced any more and dont come in 18".

So far 5,500 road kms on the rear Conti Tral Attack with TC turned off the whole time, and riding has been hard sports type through mountain roads.

The front is worn out on the edges, but rear probably has another 1500kms left in it.

I am trying hard to do paper work in the shop but keep staring at it...... Mentally farkling her. You bust your arse to afford toys and end up having fuck all time to enjoy them! Next is some fastway adv pegs like burren riders. GPS, braket which I will prob make myself. Soft panniers/rack and maybe, just maybe some time off to go for a loooooong ride.
It's nice to vent on the forum!!!!!

Looking for anyone in the San Jose, CA area w/1190 ADV soon!

If anyone is in the San Jose, California area and could part w/their bike for a couple days once they have received it, PM me. ;) In exchange for using the bike to mock up some prototype parts, I'll include the finished product to you for free. Hit me up! Just putting a reminder out there for you guys ;)
Thanks!
