Great pics, looks like a lot of fun. How many miles did you cover? Any troubles along the way? How did you plan the trip? Did you know the local language? I'd love to know more details as I hope some day to travel in this region. Cheers!

Great memories

I was in Almaty 20 years ago and loved it. Stayed for a while at the Alatau just after it was converted to a "resort". Wonderful friendly people. Your pictures brought back good memories. Great report. Keep it coming.

It is not a lot of - about 1200 miles.
no problems - only fun.
Language -local guide and gestures by hands.
