Russian hardcore

Russian hardcore - Smolensk 2007 from grom1300

This is Smolensk region of Russia, many villages here were destroyed during WWII. Some villages were abandoned during 90s. Roads are still shown on the maps but sometimes they are not passable.
Sorry, the video is quite long as it was made for local use.
But you have a chance to learn modern russian music

Bikes:
Pair of XR650Ls
Pair of XT600s
Freewind
Transalps 400 and 650
DR 800

Duration:
11 days

Music:
Mamulki band
Pushnoy
Animal Jazz feat Janna Friske & Shnur

Some photos from that ride

Holy craphouse !

That's an incredible video.

I was driving myself an DR 800 for 7 years. But I would not have done that with mine, even if I had drunk all of russias wodka at once.

Talking wow....wow..hardcore for sure

Great vid.

Could you please share with us what all the bikes were in the video? I spotted some i recognised but not all of them.

You guys should try riding in the north in canada, lots of riding like that and some great roads, both paved and gravel as well.

And, although a little unusual, the music is good too. was that all the same band, or several different ones?

Great riding by all, congrats.

Great video....
One day I will come back to my motherland to do a ride like this. One thing I miss about Russia and wasn't able to find here in the land of the free is freedom. The ability to do rides like this is amazing. This is why to me Baja has the same vibe as Russia, the feeling of freedom.

why do these russian ride reports always look like a bunch of ex-military guys who aren't happy unless they are out in the middle of absolutely nowhere, enduring miserable conditions in borderline impassable situations?

but who cares, keep 'em coming!

Maybe because those guys live in a huge city of Moscow(15 mln of inhabitants) and are happy get out of it's concrete-asphalt jungle sometimes :)
