Riding to MOTO GP TX?
Anybody riding down in April?
I keep contemplating it seeing it should be decent weather in April and not to damn hot anywhere. I would be riding to DFW as I would need to retrieve my girlfriend and other friends off the plane and all of us are staying in Fort Worth with my family. I would leave a few days early and have a leisurely ride down just checking out places I haven't been yet. What's your plan?

Man thats an good idea. I was contemplating riding to F1 last Nov. but pending surgery (still waiting on that) kept me sidelined.
I just think of all the great roads & states to ride through to get there Spring time weather in the Northeast is iffy - make sure U pack the Frogg Toggs

Hmm just mapped it from my casa, just a quick job & its almost 1700 miles via slab, thus, I would factor another 300 or so miles for the back roads - so we leave on Tuesday WVa, Kentucky, Tenn, Ozarks

I'm riding down. Plan to head down the east coast states, across the gulf coast states and to TX. Return plan is to stay one state north/west of that route. We will be taking 2 weeks to be able to enjoy the backroads both ways hopefully. I am looking for suggestions for routes. So far we have through Barber, AL planned.

I am heading down with another IBA friend. We are just going to scream down in 2 days (Wed Thurs). Then we'll have Friday-Sun in TX and we'll truck it back to Boston on Monday-Tuesday.
Honestly, I don't even have this vacation time, much less any additional to add in some back road time. But that's ok. It's going to be a fun trip. My little brother is a Junior at UT. Hanging out with him could be trouble!! ![]() I'm going to document an SS2K on the way down.
