84 to 81 is the way to go. There is no reason to fuck around with NYC and NJ.

Jake - Ozarks are awesome - smooth twisty roads
I would swing WVa, Kent, Tenn, Ark, OK, Tex on the way down then La, Miss, Ala (Barber stop a must), Ga, NC - Blue Ridge Pkwy on the way North I would use Slab as needed, but as little as possible. I need to speed up surgery - but I may be able to swing it I will know within the next 10 daze.

Sadly as a teacher I can't get the time off. I am flying out. Though being off July and August I could in theory ride to Laguna and Indy and anywhere else I want in between.

I guess I'm just going to leave whenever and do whatever and get there on Thursday. Sounds like a plan to me.

I'm Out :(
Spoke to Doc - Surgery will probably be in mid March & I'll be out of commission for 3 months or so. But, I may try & swing Daytona or Dominican Republic for a boys trip

I was in a head on cage accident in Oct. '11 - Some drunk drove the wrong way on a hiway in NJ & whacked me good. Never saw him coming as I was going up an incline - Broke both lower legs, a femur, ribs, + more, thankfully I don't remember accident. I was in hospital for a month & rehab for 2 weeks - From my femur break, my left leg is now an 1" shorter than my right, so they are going to install a femur nail which will re-lengthen my leg. I've not worked since & its tough to walk for long periods or stand for long. But I can still ride
