Amateur Flat Track racing in Ukiah! 7-race series in 2013
The practice day at Ukiah Speedway got the track owner really excited so we now have a 7-race series on the calendar for 2013!!!
If you've still got that old race bike in the garage, or have never tried it but want to then here's your chance! Full race schedule, class structure and event details below. Ukiah Speedway Flat Track Motorcycle Racing 2013 Redwood Empire Fairgrounds, Ukiah, Ca. Round #1. Sunday April 7th, 2013 Round #2. Sunday June 2nd, 2013 Round #3. Sunday June 16th, 2013 Round #4. Sunday July 14th, 2013 Round #5. Sunday August 11th, 2013 Round #6. Sunday September 8th, 2013 Round #7. Sunday October 6th, 2013 NOTE: All Classes must have “Class C Traction” on the Rear Wheel Unless otherwise noted. OPEN DIVISIONS Open DTX: Any Size Wheel, Unlimited Size Engine, Unlimited Mods. Senior: 40+ Open, Unlimited Displacement, Unlimited Mods. Vintage Light Weight: Single Cylinder, Air Cooled, Twin Shock Chassis, 250cc Max Displacement. Pre-1980. No Front Brake. Vintage Open: Single, or Twin Cylinder, Air Cooled, Twin Shock Chassis, Two Valve per Cylinder, Pre-1980. No Front Brake. MINI DIVISIONS 230 Premier: Up to 230cc Air Cooled Four Stroke Motor. Must Retain Stock Carburetor. Unlimited Chassis Mods. Max Front wheel Diameter 19”. Max Rear Wheel Diameter 18". Vet Mini: 30+. Up to 150cc Liquid Cooled Four stroke Motor, or 250cc Air Cooled Motor. Max Front Wheel Diameter 19”. Max Rear Wheel Diameter. 150 Production: Stock Bikes Up To 150cc Air Cooled Four Stroke Motor. Engine, Carburetor, Airbox, Chassis, Wheels & Brakes Must Remain Stock. Formula 125: Up To 125cc Air Cooled Four Stroke Motor. Unlimited Mods. YOUTH DIVISIONS 50cc Pee Wee: 50cc Air Cooled Bikes with 10” Diameter Wheels. (Note: this class can run ANY TIRE you like) 65 / 125: Up to 65cc Two Stroke Motors, Or, 125cc Four Stroke Motor. Ukiah Flat Track Series 2013 will be running the Exact Same Race class structure as Prarie City DTX Series for 2013. www. prairiecitydirttrack.com/racing/ More Race Tracks...More Racing...Less Changes...Less Hassle! ENTRY FEES & GATE SPECTATOR ADMISSION No Membership Cards are Required to race! Sign Up at the Track on Race Day! First Race Class entry fee is $35.00. All additional Race Class Entry Fees are $25.00 per Class. Spectator Admission is $10.00 (Children Under 12 are Free) NOTE: 50cc Pee Wee Class races for FREE! RACE DAY SCHEDULE: 9:00 a.m. Gates Open. 10:00 a.m. Track Prep. 11:00 a.m. Practice. -All Race Classes (Ideally everyone should get 2 Practice Sessions) 12:00 p.m. Track Prep. MANDATORY RIDERS MEETING! 12:30 p.m. Heat Races. (10 laps for all Divisions with the exception of Pee Wee’s which will be 4 lap Heat Races) 2:00p.m. Track Prep. Race Staff Lunch Break. 2:30 Main Events Start. (15 Laps for all divisions with the exception of Pee Wee’s which will be a 6 lap main event) Trophies will be handed out at the end of each main event to the top 3 finishers. PLEASE NOTE: Ukiah Speedway is a Family oriented facility and will not tolerate Alcohol & Drug Abuse in any way shape or form. We will also not tolerate abuse of our staff, they work long and hard hours so that you may have a fun & safe environment for your motorsports entertainment. Please be respectful of others. For your Convenience, The Food Concession will be open at Each Race Day & Race Fuel will be available as well.

I'm sure that the track owner has insurance Just like any amateur racing I've ever done though you sign the waiver when you register and you take your chances.
No sanctioning body that I know of. BTW... This isn't my gig. Just spreading the word.
