Inmate jackknyc dies after central park motorcycle crash

Jack Krugman, a 68-year-old man from the Upper East Side, died on Monday after his motorcycle crashed into the guardrail on the East side of the Central Park loop around 96th Street at around 3:15 p.m.

Krugman went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to Mount Sinai, but was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m., the Daily News reported.

“He was alone on the bike and lost control and was thrown,” a police source told the Daily News. “He hit the guardrail.” He was riding a BMW F650, the Post said.

I know what was posted as to what the report said. However, I wonder if perhaps he started having the heart problem before he crashed.

It was just completely random...He wasn't avoiding an animal, he was only traveling about 25 mph. But it was clear that he was dead, We waited for 7 minutes until the police came."

In the photo, only his top case was broken off, not any damage visible to the bike. The road is dry. I guess when it's your time...

Rip

I am a noob here but from reading about Jack I could say he was a true
New Yorker I do not know what he was in a different chapter/avatar in his life but the work he did and his love for riding a motorcycle say's a lot, cabbies do not have a easy life 12 hour shifts night or day and all the other things going on in the city good or bad

A lot of my friends paid for college driving I always wondered what it would be like, probably like driving for a circus including the wildlife lol

It was nice to see his pics from DR Rock's party (what a phenomenal event that is ) my dad is almost the same age as Jack April 1944 and he was in a accident which almost killed him but he survived really tough man. Hope you have a grand time riding the milky way up there Jack

My thoughts and prayers go out to your loved ones left behind!

What a way to go out of this world huh? Not a bad way at all IMHO.
