Ktm 640 Adv (2006) Headlamp aim.. US to UK

Firstly Greetings all! New to this place and the ADV world! (bought a '06 640 Adv from the west coast of USA and rode it to NYC in Sept/Oct 2012! Not a deal of off roading but hey we're only 40 once!!

Anyway.....loved the Big satsuma so much I imported it back to the UK....1100 to the VAT man later I'm ready to MOT it ready for getting it a UK Plate etc to this I have two questions.....

1. The low beam is clearly angled to the right for the USA but I cant see any lense deflections (They look like a straight beam) so is this like the odl 1150 GS and simply moved the bulb or turn the lense? Or is it a new Headlight?

2. As this was an 06 bike it didnt have the (on/pos/off) switch on the R/H switch gear being a little old school I prefer to tell the bike when I need the lights on not some euro crat so as luck would have it I found a whole replacement R/H switch gear on ebay with the On/Off switch. My question is this a plug in n play item....Ive been told it is on most bikes, just making sure before I rip all the lights and n plastics off the bike to fit varios things prior to the MOT!

Many thankyou's in ADVance!!

Rich
