Do you spend the winters in AZ and summers in Alaska? We live in Mesa and I would love to travel to Alaska. My dream ride is camping off a dual sport while traveling through AK.

I plan to spend part of the coming winter in Tucson. I keep a 1150 GS in Saddlebrooke for winter riding. Should hit town in Febuary. Look for me.

Owner of a goldwing with a knobby on front?
Car tire on back? Knobby thing on front? Probably airplane landing lights on it somewhere? That would be my guess.

Been in Haines for a couple days. Getting on the ferry tonite. Had to tuck behind a snowplow on the Cilikat pass. I hope that's the end of snow riding for the rest of this ride.

I would do the same. AZ is great to ride in winter, summer not so much. Whereas, Alaska is great to ride in summer but not so much in winter. Enjoy.
