Accident scene management class

Abate is hosting an accident scene management classes March 1-4. Basic, Advanced and Instructor classes are offered. This is a first responder class that is motorcycle specific. Please consider taking this class, the first one on the scene of an accident is usually another motorcyclist. The flyers are on my facebook page Alaska Leather. I'll put the link here as soon as I figure out how. Thanks, Barb

Just to clarify: Basic class is Saturday 9 - 5, Advanced class is Sunday 9 - 5. $75 per class is an outrageously good deal. Thanks for posting, Barb.

Yes, the basic is first day, advanced is second day. Basic is a pre-req for the advanced. The advanced includes basic compressions. Instructor class is overlapping those 2 classes starting March 1, ending at 1:00 PM on the 4th.

For even minor get-offs, a head or neck injury is a very real possibility. This class gives you a system to deal with things instead of running around in circles.

The trainer is Vickie Sanfelipo, she developed the course, awesome instructor. Anyone taking the instructor course will be nationally certified to teach. Lead instructors need to have at least an EMT 1 background (don't have to be current, just medical background)

If you take it with a riding buddy, he may save your life and vise-versa. Thanks, Barb

We just dropped the instructor price in half. If you or anyone of your riding buddies has medical background. Please consider being an instructor. It is an independent certification and you can teach classes so we don't have to bring someone from the states in the future. Thanks, Barb
