I posted a week ago about closure of tracks and hinted that the next thing we know is that mining would be there.

I thought they ( the government ) would have waited longer before they rubed our face in it.

I'm not one to instigate unlawful behaviour, but at what point do they stop? Is this what is needed to make them realise that this behaviour is not acceptable?

Devide and concour is the method.

When you start believing that you can't safely ride a bike without indicators or you have a suspension lift on your four wheel drive, camp in spots that are outside of the regimented areas , wear a non ADR approved helmet etc. you live in fear and loose your voice.

We loose our freedom in small increments and only when there is a mass uprising does the government back down. ( Franklin Dam example ).

Not really, news article 3 and half years old, all you fuckers with alziemers and dementure should have forgotten about. Government and mining may now be acting on. First notice track closures, then sale goes ahead, and people start to arc up, government and sand mining company can simply turn around and say well you had 3 and a half years notice.

How would you read that from what I have written?

My point is that while there is no, one large group to stand and fight this there are many smaller ones. This was done on purpose in my opinion by the government. there are too many fractuls, just look at the way ( even the fact that there are individual govenrment for each state ) the states turn a blind eye when a problem is in another state. Come on Australia, lets move forward and realise that this is not helping matters, A good example ( and I live near the QLD border but in NSW ) is how much effort and money is taken from me when I buy or sell a car/motorbike/truck with QLD plates. It makes no sense at all, aside from lining pockets of people that shouldn't be there anyway.
Also my point is that in the Media's eye there would seem to be a bunch of groups that hate eachother, Campers, Four Wheel Drivers, Mountain Bikers, Horseriders, Trail Bike riders and Bush walkers, now I for one have only ever had nice conversations with all of them, I am respectful as I pass them and switch off completely for Horseriders. So we should all be one group, " Bush Lovers ", and I am sure that if there is any animosity towards eachother it is not as strong as the dislike that Bush Lovers have for the mining companies and political red tape that they hide behind.

So by appearing to try to fix things a little bit, they avoid a complete overhaul of the system.

So the Bush walkers are happy when trail bikes and four wheel drives are banned from an area but if they where given the whole story and asked " do you think we should close this bushland and start mining here " I bet you get a different answer.
And another point, if they count the number of bush walkers in an area and notice that it is reducing, sometimes it is because to get to a certain area they have closed the dirt roads to get near. So first they close the road access, so you can't get near to it by car, then they say to the bush walkers " well you weren't using it anyway ".

And If this is too compicated an answer, then just for the record, I am against closing tracks.

I honestly don't want to get into an argument with anyone and I sure don't want to use untrue info to back up any arguments.
