I'm combatting the fork seals going again with all balls seals, I've also bought neoprone sleeves to cover the stanchions, and paid through the ar** for a rear shock sleeve too! This bike will last forever god dammit!

Good luck with yours! I'd love to know the average life span of difference conrods.....?

New fork seals, dust seals, good old clean and fitted some neoprene gaitors too. Just need to wait for my clear waxoil to show up (really was not happy with the frame rust, so i'm treating the whole bike) then just need to find some time to put it back togetheR!!!

I believe that just vents to atmosphere, but mine has a small filter on it.

Cheers

Yes. I just vents into the air and is the cause of a lot of carb problems. Put a small filter onto it and you will prevent the injection of a lot of dust into the carb. Go the BST40 bible thread and read all about it.

Had to bypass kickboxing today to secure a last minute MOT, then went between 4 post offices to find one capable of selling me tax . Now just to watch my license vapourise!!!!

It's bloody nice having the SuMo wheels on, sticks to the road like hell! Finding the forks are very stiff feeling atm, knocked to compression back to 5 out, still feels stiff for 5w oil, but no stiction... odd! ****ing glad to be back riding again! The NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add: Not really a significant amount of vibes added since with the counter-counter-balance shaft...
