I would think the opposite is true! CF would cause the valve to seat more fully.

My buddy had a rear heidenau replaced by the company cause it leaked air thru the sidewall itself....little bubbles coming thru the sidewall. They replaced the tire.

Call this guy http://www.advcycleworks.com/ if it isn't the valve stem.

He thinks Heidenaus are perfect and has probably mounted 100s +
