Found an Iphone Sunny Corner

Just wondering if anyone here has lost an iphone out at sunny corner. It could have been there 6 months or more. It is in a waterproof case and in good condition. We were working out there and spotted it in the middle of a track. It was near one of those handlebar padding thingys. A Yamaha one.

Charge it up and see if you can get a number to call from it. some folks put an ICE (In Case of Emergency) number in the directory you could use to track down the owner, though the network connection would most likely have been cancelled.

also, under settings/general/about, I believe, it'll show the network number. Also, the provider can track down the owner from the imei of the phone.

Take to Telstra Shop and they will be able to tell who the provider was, fromt here it is easy to track them down.

If they lost it at Sunny Corner and were using it.............. they werent with Vodaphone or Optus.........

We charged the phone up and all we got was that it needed a code so couldn't look up anything on it. The local police have now come and collected it but I get the feeling that instead of checking serial numbers or with Telstra it will just sit there for a month then get sent back to me.
