Hi from N.J.. I just purchased a 1986 KLR600 9950 miles on it. I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area, wasnt sure where to introduce myself.

Congratulations on the KLR 600 purchase BruceDeuce.....you don't see many of these bikes around anymore but should make a great basis for an adventure bike. Got any plans for riding or improving? Working ok? Maybe say hello in the KLR650 threads since it's precursor to these and some of those guys would like to discuss the evolution no doubt.

Get out there and let us know how she handles!

Thanks for the welcome! I have posted over in the Thumper section about a concern I have about a noise in the upper and have received great advice. I saw the KLR650 ONLY thread and did not post there because I have a 600, lol. Perhaps I will post up there and see if they respond. After I get the noise worked out I intend to upgrade the suspension and brakes.
