About at New River, north of Phoenix. It's a terrific place to ride trials -- steeper than heck, with a wet river bottom to splash around in.
It's said to have been a highly productive gold mine about WW1. Now a ranch and residence of some fine people who have hosted us 9 years now. Mike Meschede, probably you know him, has a great feel for the place and finds us something new every time. |

Yes, there is plenty of space for RV's, campers or tents. The event is being held at the City of Gallup OHV/MX Park on the east end of town. There are six large pit areas for the motocross track and I'm sure we can use 2-3 of them for the trials event.

Nice pics!! I`ve known Mike M for years Curtis notice the difference in the parking lot!! Just normal small vehicles. They don`t camp liKe we do, but they sure can get to great riding area`s!! All Arizona trials are awesome if anyone is curious to make the drive.

That looks so dry. My section had water in it
That rather tall dog was up to it's neck at the starting gate. And a personal accomplishment at Orizaba, I finished all 3 loops in my correct class. First time I have done that since knee surgery. I am almost back to my pre-injury riding level.

I'd love to do some AZ trials sometime. We need to get a group and invade CAT some weekend!

March 10th will work. Camp out in the middle of nowhere while you are at it.
