small Yamaha R5 part needed, PLEASE.

I suppose that this would be the most practical place to ask...
I NEED THE MUFFLER BOLT ASSEMBLY....BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE PARTS...I think there is also a rubber spacer....These are not available.
I just began to resurrect my old R5.
Can anyone help?

Call around to the Yamaha dealers in your area or outside... Ask if they use Lightspeed for their parts lookup. Have them bring up the parts you need. Their screen will show dealers in the U.S that use Lightspeed that have the parts you are looking for in their inventory. Get the phone number (it comes up on their screen as well) and call for your parts. Works for me all the time. Any question... PM me

The DT1 is still in the familyroom, still for sale. Working on a 1978 TT500 for the shorttrack series Joe Kopp runs every summer in Airway Heights, just west of Spokane.

Hey Spo,
Do you know where to get rims for an R5? They are 1.60 x 18 x 36 hole and 1.80 x 18 x 36 hole? I have my R5 close to completion on a sympathetic restorat ion, except for the wheels....

I did find the needed parts on evilbay.....However, looking on google, did allow me to find them for sale, new.

I located a NICE front wheel assembly on that same da%n site. Forks, too.
Perhaps I will attempt to see FIRE in the next week or two.
