iPhone Cases

Time for a new case for my iPhone 4 ...any ideas.

Here's a link on the Top 20 options by cnet, but I'd like some opinions here.

LINK: http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-6448_7-10004905.html#2300-6448_7-10004905-1.html?&_suid=136098586129406697238060614957

I'm not going into combat with it, but I do tend to destroy things rather quickly, thanks.

It's hard to beat the Otterbox Defender. A bit bulky, but it's does its job.

Half of the reviews in that cnet link kept comparing them to the Otterbox Defender. The Hard Core HC case seems like a nice option, as well.

I recommend the Ballistic HC case. I tried the Otterbox defender for my iPhone 4 and it was not near as good as there older products. I gave up on it after the 5th belt clip either broke or fell apart. I'm on my second Ballistic (I'm very hard on my phone) and I wouldn't buy anything else. Btw I only replaced the first one be because the screen cover was so badly scratched.

Strike Industries - battle phone case

It has a loop like a magpull that makes it easy to fish out of a pocket, and you can loop a finger through for single hand usage.

Currently using a Lifeproof case. The sound quality is my only beef with it.

I don't mind the Otterbox Defender but I absolutely HATE the belt clip. Has anyone found any kind of a belt/pouch-type case that will hold the phone with the Otterbox silicone sleeve on it? Yeah...my silicone has started to stretch out as well but I truly believe it has more to do with the shitty belt clip.

I like Specks. I carry my phone in my pocket a lot and I really don't need a Pelican case for it.

+1 for Lifeproof. My wife and I both have the 4S. She has the Otterbox Defender and I have the Lifeproof. I cant believe how big and bulky her case is compared to mine. On top of all that bulk its not water proof. I don't swim with mine but its nice to know that it's protected just in case I fall in some creek.

Sound quality with the life proof case is an issue for some, doesn't bother me. Another issue is you cant put it in a dock and some cords don't work with it.

Otterbox Commuter case. I've had one for each of my iPhones.

I really like the Ballistic Hard Core, but it seems a bit Troglodytey compared to the Otterbox Commuter.

Here's a really cool option - a little pricey, though. I think I might just get it.

I just bought my very first iPhone today. It's a 4s and I got an Otterbox Defender something. It seems to be ok. I just wanted to protect an expensive (to me) investment. The sound quality is pretty good.

I like the Otterbox cases.
Have used a Defender on my last 2 phones with no issues.
I do have a Griffin case on my iPod Touch and its also well made.
