The Turkey Flat Shiraz is basically sold out after getting the same rating as Grange and thought that the Wolf Blas Grey Label Shiraz was well worth it's price too. Did I tell you that I like Shiraz?
Is that the same tasting room that Bono from U2 frequents?
Their Basket Press has been sensational in the past, haven't had one in a while, must organize a ride up there soon!

Just talking with a guy tonight about doing organised tours of the Barossa, I love the place. Might end up being my part time employment after retirement next week.

Yes, Bono and others have tasted the Basket Press in that little room...the latest offering has been available to members since about Oct and is due for public release in March I think. It's a great vintage and they'll use it again next year but then it will have a further 12 months in the bottle.....I love the stuff.

As a Uni student I worked in the Exeter Hotel (Rundle St) many years ago about 25 with Nick Binns. Basket Press was new and you could buy it by the glass and the maker was drinking coopers scotch ale on the other side. Interesting times. But I know shit about wines (serious) still dont.

Same here, if it looks good, smells good and tastes good, I just reckon it must be.

Hey, has any one tried the Chardy?

At $50 a dozen, do I have to take one for the team?

Cheers, badmanners.

Used to get the Shiraz Mataro from them for many years, then started working for Hardys and could not justify the expense each year (I was getting some amazing wines for half price). Skillogallee Shiraz and Jim Barry Armagh around the corner are killers too!
