I just don't get it. I have heard members on totalruckus.com claim they have $10,000 into their Ruckus. For that you can get one of those new BMW C600 maxi scoots.

...and you never will get it as many don't.

He has a one-of-a-kind that HE built the way HE wanted. Not something off the sales floor that 10,000 others own.

Anyone can stroke a check. Not everyone can build what this gent built. Bravo! Good job on the build! (I get it! )

Every spring down here in NOLA there is a huge scooter rally. It seems that the Ruckus is the favorite platform to mod. I love to check them out. Nice work!!!

There's so much going on with this bike it's hard to tell where the stock Ruckus ends and the custom begins. At any rate it's really sweet.

I'm guessing the engine is something quite out of the ordinary for this bike.

The forks are RRGS USD style. They offered them for about 6 months or so in 2010 then went back to standard. Not sure why, cause the USD style is sweet. I think they ran about $550ish.

The GY6 motor is common. A lot of parts avail these days. Despite the massive carb i have on it its super reliable....but mileage went from about 90mpg stock to 25mpg. But hey, who wants stock?!

Thanks for checking it out!!

Not putting it down, I do understand the modding thing. Been doing it to cars/trucks all my life. Just never got into modding bikes. I have owned/built a number of cars with very few stock mechanical parts on them. Af far as working on bikes, I would prefer to find a vintage bike and restore it back to original, maybe making a few improvements (which weren't available when it was new) but leaving it basically stock.
