Perfect. That means you'll be getting about 3 hours of sleep a night. That will be a new challenge when combined with BreckTrek.

I would really like to come along. It will be quite a while before I know my schedule though...
Can I show up at the trail head in the morning?

A spankin new on is in my shop right now gettin some mods! If the KLR guy shows again this year I will consider taking the Terra. Based on his posts I would say he had a good time and might make a showing again. The key word is " consider". I am more excited to take the TE250. I have never spent sun up to sun down in the seat of a dirt bike. My arse is gonna hate me but I can't fricken wait!

Honestly, I didnt intend to deck the nuns, they just got in the way of my fists when I went berzerk. Besides, It was kinda thier fault for not giving me some type of anesthetic before they started scrubbing the road rash.

What's BreckTrek all about?
The ride is mainly about testing yourself and your bike (most riders give out long before their bikes do). Most people haven’t ridden their dirt bike for anywhere near 230 miles (about 13 hours) in one day. If you have ever wondered what it’s like, here’s your chance to find out without being "that slow guy" in a group of hot-shots.
There are a few stupid-difficult rides every year (the MonkeyButt rides, MOAR, 50/50, etc.) If you want to see if you are up for one of these, try BreckTrek first. BreckTrek is not easy by any means, but we know there will be lots of people who will be pushing themselves to new limits so we’ll understand about your crying and your broken ribs, whereas on the MonkeyButt we’ll just laugh. On BreckTrek we will ride as fast as the group can manage all day, with very short breaks (we have a lot of ground to cover). Our only long break (20-30 min) will be a late-afternoon lunch in Breck. It will get dark at 8:30 which is about when we’ll be starting our final section of trails. For the final hour you’ll be dead tired, riding in a cloud of dust over whoops that you can’t see the bottom of because your headlight casts a shadow into them; it’s fun.

BreckTrek History 2012
![]() I was late putting this year’s ride together so I thought I would have a smaller group because of it, but at the starting line we had 25 attendees (a new record). The route changes slightly from year to year and this year’s route was the hardest, but it was a route I've been trying to do for years. I really liked the route, but the attrition rate was a little high, so we’ll modify the route accordingly this year. 25 riders started, 8 finished. ![]() 2012 Thread: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=778005
