Scott's steering damper

I have a 2009 Honda Varadero with 36000 Kms. I am currently in Mexico on my way to S/A. I came across a gentleman with a V-Strom to which he had added a Scott's front end damper. I was impressed by this mod. Upon enquiring to purchase one for my Varadero the email I received back from Slavens was that they do not make dampers for the Varo. Can anyone out there confirm or deny this? From my beginning research on google there is ambiguous information. Hope someone out there can set me straight.

Thanks for the help. Looks like Scott's doesn't make one for my bike unless its made under a different model that I don't recognize.

Might be worth one more try with Scotts. Send them an email with your
query. They make all sorts of mounts and have always been very helpful with my questions. There are other dampers made as well and they may offer a way for you to fit your bike. Not all dampers are "bolt-on" installs.
Some require welding or bracket modifications. Good luck.
