Exploring Utah - Road bike

So I just got myself a decent road bike and have been waiting years to explore Utah. I have some general ideas of where I want to go (like H12, national parks, etc.) but are there any really interesting out-of-the-way things to see in Utah? Like natural phenomenons, amazing roads, highest, biggest, hottest, coldest this or that?

Anything to see near Heber as well? That's a really cool place.

Here on AdvR, search out Endless Utah(SLC area) and RedRockRider in the St. Geo region.

Also, your state's own web site is a good source.

...and, this is a must....

Bears Ears, Mokey Dugway, Promontory Point, Bear Lake, Bonneville Speedway, Poney Express Route. Flaming Gorge, and Pink Dunes State Park have all been of interest to me.

Catch these and the other parks will follow along.

I've been over pretty much every highway in Utah and my new favorite is that road that goes from Kamas to Tabiona. I did it on a Thursday and had it to myself. My old favorite was Highway 12.

check out Cedar Breaks , I think it gets missed by a lot of folks while in southern Utah because of the big name parks.
